This is the 5th annual Speed the Light Flag Football Tournament hosted at Desert Springs Church! This is a one-day tournament that takes place Saturday, December 20th. Every year this tournament has been fun and provided good competition, and we'd love for you to be apart! Some important information in regards to the tournament itself:
- This is a 7 v 7 tournament with rosters maxing at 15 total players per team.
- This event is for all ages but is also competitive. Just something to keep in mind when building your team.
- Registration and payment is required for EVERY player that participates, meaning this registration form is necessary to be completed by everyone on your team. If you are the team captain, please ensure that all players on your roster complete this registration form before Dec 20th.
- Free Agents - If you do not have a team but would like to play, you can register and we will find you a team at check-in the morning of the tournament.
- Check-in begins at 8am and the tournament starts at 8:30am. Everyone is required to check-in.
- TEAM ROSTER FORMS ARE DUE AT CHECK-IN DECEMBER 20TH.
- Tournament Rules & Info as well as Team Roster Forms will be sent in a confirmation email after registration completion.
All proceeds of this event go directly to Speed the Light, an organization whose main goal is to help missionaries around the world. This year's STL proceeds are being given to Scott and Lisa Berkey, who are Arizona natives and currently missionaries in Kenya, Africa. Their mission is to serve the next generation of youth in Kenya and to help plant churches in the surrounding area.
